Facebook User Data Deletion
This page is for people who use Qlinx with Facebook Login. It explains how Qlinx meets Meta’s user data deletion requirements. The canonical Qlinx account deletion and data-handling policy is Account Deletion & Data Removal.
1. Who this page is for
Users who sign in to Qlinx with Facebook Login, or who have linked Facebook as a login method.
2. How to delete your Qlinx account in the app
- Sign in to the Qlinx app.
- Open Account Settings from the My Page (profile) menu.
- Choose Account deletion (withdrawal) and follow the on-screen steps to complete deletion.
For identity verification, a recent login and/or Facebook reauthentication may be required.
If you cannot sign in or access the app, email support@qlinx.jp with a “Qlinx account deletion request.” Include your registered email address and that you want account deletion. We may request identity verification. Email support is not a replacement for in-app deletion; it is a fallback when the app cannot be used.
3. User data deleted or anonymized (policy)
When account deletion completes, we delete or anonymize the following user data as a matter of policy (same as the canonical account deletion page):
- Profile, learning progress, settings, favorites, etc.
- QP balance and entitlements unlocked with QP
- Important Inbox, notification settings, deviceTokens, etc.
- User-facing referral display information (internal audit records are covered next)
- Facebook-related authentication identifiers held via Firebase Authentication for Facebook Login (as a result of unlink / deletion)
4. Internal records that may be retained
Store purchase history, ledger entries, refunds, cancellations, chargebacks, debt records, webhooks, and records needed for fraud prevention, audit, accounting, or legal compliance may be retained in part as required by law or operational necessity. We do not represent that all user data is physically deleted immediately.
5. No restoration from retained records
- After withdrawal, the user-facing data, QP, and purchased states listed above cannot be restored.
- Any retained internal records are not used to restore QP, progress, profile, or other user data to a re-registered account.
- Even if you re-register using the same email address or authentication credentials (including Facebook), it is treated as a new UID (account); past QP, progress, and entitlements are not carried over.
6. How to remove the Facebook connection
- As part of Qlinx account deletion, we also revoke the Facebook (Meta) app authorization/permissions as a matter of policy. Facebook reauthentication may be required during the process.
- You can also remove Qlinx from Facebook’s settings (for example: Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites). Exact labels may differ by Facebook’s UI and language.
Important: Removing the Facebook connection alone is not always the same as deleting your Qlinx account. To delete your Qlinx profile, learning data, QP, and related account data, you must complete Qlinx account deletion (or use the email fallback above).
